How does it work?

This is a totally free to use event calendar where you post the events. Anyone is welcome to do it, and it's very easy to do:

Who created this calendar?

My name is Glenn Geiger, and I live and work in Stockbridge, MA. I create websites and develop applications for anyone who needs them. You can visit my website here. Why this site exists

To get the word out

Once I saw the need to know what's happening in the Berkshires, I realized how difficult it would be to post everything myself.

By letting you (the community) post your events, it gives you the chance to get the word out the way that you want. By adding photos, event info, dates, times, and links, you have control over your events.

Everything in one place

My first exposure to the vast amount of entertainment in the Berkshires was as the Co-Op Market in Great Barrington. There is a corkboard packed with flyers and postcards — dance and theater productions, live music, and community events. I wondered if I could build a website with a list of every event, ordered by date. Then let the community fill it up.

It's everything happening, in one place. If you'd like to see an event from someone (or somewhere) and it's not listed, ask that venue to post here! The more you post, the more useful it is to everyone.
